2015 Earth Day Week: Bird Walk, Owl Prowl & Toad Talk At Seven Ponds [VIDEO]

Search for sandhill cranes, ducks, swallows, eastern bluebirds, eastern towhees, blackbirds and more at Spring Bird Walk No.1 on Wednesday (4/22) at 8 AM at Seven Ponds Nature Center. All bird-watching levels are welcome. Bring binoculars, field guide and dress for the weather. Fee: $3 (no charge for members). Hike along the trails in hopes of calling in one or more of the center’s resident owls in Seven Pond’s annual Owl Prowl on Thursday (4/23) at 7 PM. Bring a flashlight. Program is limited to 25 participants and you must pre-register by calling 810-798-3200. Fee: $7 ($3 for members). Toads will serenade you while you walk the trails in Toad Talk on Sunday (4/26) at 2 PM. Discover some little known facts about these wonderful amphibians. Visit sevenponds.org for more information.
