Tigers Hang on to Take One from Angels

Tiger starter Brad Penny gave up three early runs but buckled down to pitch seven strong innings for the victory.  The final score:  Tigers 5 – Angels 4.  The Tigers finally managed some timely hitting from Victor Martinez, Andy Dirks and Miguel Cabrera to pull out the win.  The Tigers are in Kansas City for a three game set with the Royals.  Max Scherzer takes the mound tonight for the Tigers.
