State parks

From the size of a few football fields to a whopping 92 square miles, that's the size difference between Michigan's smallest and largest state parks.

Michigan is home to 104 state parks currently. However there are nearly 40 sites that are no longer state parks - each with a slightly different story of what happened to them.

This Saturday and Sunday, June 8 and 9, it's Michigan's "Three Free" Weekend, where you can fish, ride off-road trails, and visit state parks, all free of charge.
