Jack Bruce the great rock artist and bass player who came on the scene with Cream is spotlighted in the new two-disc anthology collection 'Sunshine Of Your Love: A Life In Music' on sale now. Jack died last year (10/25/14) he was 71, and on Saturday his career will be celebrated at an all-star memorial concert at the Roundhouse in London.

An eclectic assortment of artists is scheduled to gather in honor of Jack Bruce for a tribute concert to be held on the one-year anniversary of his death.

Jack Bruce, the former bassist and singer for Cream, will release a new album, ’Silver Rails,’ in March 2014. The record is his first solo effort since 2003’s ‘More Jack Than God.’

After just over two years as a band, Cream gave their final performance on Nov. 26, 1968. The concert was held at the Royal Albert Hall In England. Cream's decision to disband took fans by surprise, though simmering tensions within the band, primarily between Jack Bruce and Ginger Baker, came to a head, as Eric Clapton was losing interest in the band. The first rock and roll power trio Cream (Eric Clapton, Jack Bruce and Ginger Baker) started their first tour today back in 1966, with a concert in Manchester, England. The band had their first public performance at the Windsor Festival prior to hitting the road.

Cream have become the latest classic rock act to announce that they will be celebrating Record Store Day on April 20. The famous supergroup will release a three-LP of 'Live at the Royal Albert Hall' in an extremely limited run of only 1,500 copies.
