
Nicotine Patch May Improve Memory
Older adults suffering from mild cognitive impairment, or MCI, may benefit from using a nicotine patch. A new study finds non-smoking adults who suffer from MCI can regain nearly 50-percent of their memory function after using the patch for six months. MCI is considered the middle ground between memory loss associated with normal aging and dementia.
