Michigan Weather: Identity Crisis [PHOTOS]

As I was driving around on my break today there were two things that I couldn't help but notice. First, the temperature was 81 degrees, and second, the leaves are already changing colors.

Sure, it's still technically summer, but what gives? I can cope with an 81 degree day in late September, but not with leaves falling. Vice versa, I can handle leaves falling, but not when it's 81. Why can't Mother Nature make up her mind?
