Air Canada Pilot Diverts Transatlantic Flight To Save Bulldog From Freezing [VIDEO]
An Air Canada flight from Tel-Aviv to Toronto was diverted to Frankfort because of a 7-year old French bulldog named Simba. Just as the plane was about to head out over the Atlantic, the pilot noticed a heater in the cargo hold was broken and knew there was a dog on board who might freeze to death. The pilot made the right decision according to aviation expert, Phyl Durby. “The captain is responsible for all lives on board, whether it’s human or canine" he said.
